IMG_7328 “We don’t love each other; we love the idea we have of each other. Very few humans understand this or can bear to contemplate it.
They have blind faith in their own powers of creation. All love, ultimately, is self-love.”

Live for yourself.

There’s so much more to life than finding someone who will want you, or being sad over someone who doesn’t. There’s a lot of wonderful time to be spent discovering yourself without hoping someone will fall in love with you along the way, and it doesn’t need to be painful or empty. You need to fill yourself up with love. Not anyone else. Become a whole being on your own. Go on adventures, fall asleep in the woods with friends, wander around the city at night, sit in a coffee shop on your own, write on bathroom stalls, leave notes in library books, dress up for yourself, give to others, smile a lot. Do all things with love, but don’t romanticize life like you can’t survive without it. Live for yourself and be happy on your own. It isn’t any less beautiful, I promise.

Happy Birthday my Boy!

In the backdrop of flying time, I tried to capture significant moments and there was no dearth of such moments. I remember most of our times together and counted each moments to see you growing. The day was 28th february, when I heard your first cry and counted your little fingers and toes. Today is your 4th birthday, your innocence and love that you show everyone in our family is a blessing.

You are inquisitive, strong willed  and a very thoughtful child . You see everything for what it is without any other thought. You are so completely present in every situation and because of that you are able to appreciate the little things so fully. You are teaching me something new, wonderful and inspiring me to become a better mom and a better person.
I can only imagine what amazing things you will do and accomplish in the future. Happy Birthday my dear Son.
I love you to the Moon and back.
Your Mommy xoxoxo

Rain drops..

What if your blessings come through rain drops, What if Your healing comes through tears, What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You’re near …. What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life, Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can’t satisfy, What if trials of this life, The rain, the storms, the hardest nights…
