Travel Post # 3

Our last day in barcelona was really eventful. We drove to the famous beaches like Barceloneta and Montagat. Spending half a day at the beach with pleasant weather was a great experience, specially if you come from cold country. It was a nice break from our German winter.

In the afternoon we visited Montserrat monastery, which was 45 kms Northwest from Barcelona. It has the magnificent views of Catalan’s landscape. Driving on the well developed hairpin curves was thrilling.

There was a typical Spanish evening not only with spanish food but we experienced live Flamenco performance in the city. Flamenco sounds and dance was a great treat to Spanish tradition. Los taranto offers this performance ( Located near La Rambala street )

Barcelona was a splendid experience which we would like to relive.
